Current Plots:

• James is one of three starting chasers for the Falmouth Falcons, and he is definitely loving every second of the ride on the road of the rich and famous. Always a little conceited, the important spot can get to his head sometimes, but he is easily kept in check by his coach and friends. During the past summer and off-season, James partied away time drinking, smoking, and engaging in other less noble activities. But now Quidditch season has started back up again, and he's whipping himself into shape, but he misses the laid-back lifestyle of summer, and is often bitter about it.
  
• For most of 2023, James frequently messed around with Ellie Baddock, and old flame of his from school who he'd always admired. Neither of them could put a name on the relationship, as it was mainly physical. James was afraid of commitment, and they never really figured things out. He didn't understand that he was in love with her denying it to himself.
  
• In early 2024, James reconnected with old school friend, Poppy Davies. He was quite taken with her, as she was also a Quidditch player, and invited her out on a couple dates. As he and Ellie were nothing official, this was not in the wrong, but he had definitely scored Ellie in doing so. Though he and Poppy are not necessarily
  "boyfriend and girlfriend", she is a presence in his life. Ellie is Caradoc Mortimer, to James' mortification. He is realizing his true feelings for Ellie while also struggling with lingering feelings for Poppy.

Current Plots:

• James is now secure in his position as the star chaser of the Falmouth Falcons, leading his team to victory game after game. His quick rise to fame has made him the new golden boy of the Quidditch world, and he is recognizable almost anywhere in wizarding society, even earning himself a band of paparazzi when walking through Diagon Alley. He graces magazine covers, and even does a multitude of radio interviews. While at first James was in love with the attention, it is slowly starting to wear him down. He’s seeing the downsides of having all eyes on him, and slowly but surely, he’s being humbled. But only a little bit.
  
• James is now officially dating his old flame, Ellie Baddock, and the pair will shortly be moving in together. Within the next year, though neither of them know it, Ellie will becoming pregnant with the pair’s first child: Theo James Potter.
  
• Though James has come to terms with the fact that Andrew Abercrombie and his cousin Rose are in love and will probably get married, he is certainly not over the fact that Sam Finnigan seemingly used his other cousin Lucy Weasley for his own entertainment, quickly dropping her. As soon as Lucy told James, he went to Sam and Andrew’s apartment in a fit of childish rage, and destroyed all of Sam’s belongings, making his distaste obvious. James has not spoken to Sam since.
